Mark and I were fraternity brothers, Alpha Phi Omega, at High Point College. Being a service fraternity we were all about service and helping others. Mark was always willing to do service for others while at High Point and after reading his obituary, a trait that followed him throughout life.
Rest In Peace Brother!

During his years at High Point College (now University), I had the pleasure of knowing Mark as a student in one of my courses and also as a member of the service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, for which I served as an advisor. All of that seems not so long ago. I recall moments in which he extended courtesy to others, especially in the performance of the outreach projects that were sponsored by the fraternity. I shall keep Mark's family in my thoughts, with gratitude for having known him.

I was so saddened to learn of Mark's passing to his Heavenly reward. He will always be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and love of life. Mark and I were roommates at High Point University. In addition, he pledged Alpha Phi Omega fraternity and I was his "big brother," an honor I have cherished. There are many stories to share and I will always reminisce about those stories and times we shared together. Rest easy, Mark. I know your mom and dad, as well as my parents welcomed you with open arms.

This was Mark at our 27th Anniversary Dinner back in January of this year 2020 with my Sister Karen to his right. :) It was a good night! Mark loved food and gatherings so he was in his element here with lots of people to chat with. He loved a good meal, it just took him forever to eat it! :) Always the last one to finish his meal!

Mark was my sister Karen's, love. He was a nice man. He had a very interesting sense of humor! He liked a good conversation. He was always a gentleman! I can hear him calling me "Darling" as he did often to most females. :)
Mark was kind and soft spoken and always accommodating. My sister and Dakoda will miss him very much and talk fondly about him all the time.
Mike and I would like send out our prayers to his friends and family. Especially to Karen & Dakoda, so they find peace knowing Mark is truly resting now.
Remember whenever grief tries to steal the beauty of your memories.....just remember, Love Never Dies. RIP Mark.
