Once I learned of her illness I wanted to come see her so bad, say my goodbyes, and thank her for so many things. COVID halted that idea quickly, so I will leave this for her family.
Dale was my second mom as a kid. She always welcomed me into her home with that infectious smile and just loved to laugh, be silly, and have a good time. (In contrast to mine) her home was so well kept with beautiful landscaping that she tenderly cared for. I can still hear her birds singing in the dining room. Not until I was an adult did I understand how hard she worked as a single mom to raise 2 amazing girls and taught them lessons of hard work and sacrifice, and how to truly measure success in life. I was a weird kid but she always accepted me and I loved sharing a ping pong game, even though she was so darned competitive- with a smile and a laugh of course. She loved her family so fiercely and was so proud of all of them. She has truly left a legacy and I will miss her always! Moms and grandmoms are just the best. Love to you all!

Anyone who knew Dale knew how infectious her laugh was! Her spirit was always one of joy and kindness and love. We who shared a part of Dale's life are truly the blessed ones. To Dale's family my condolences and may God give you His comfort and His peace. Linda Hendren
