Obituary of Fred Wright

Fredrick (Fred) Wayne Wright died on Friday April 12, 2019.  He was born on June 20, 1940 to  Lawrence V. Wright and Janie G. Wright in Cleveland County NC.  After graduating from Lattimore High School in 1958 he attended Wake Forest University for one year. He retired from AMP Inc. in Greensboro NC.

Fred loved to fish, play golf and watch the Atlanta Braves; did not miss a game. He also loved to spend time with grandson, Joshua, and watch him play baseball.

He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence, his mother Janie and his elder brother Larry.

He is survived by his son James Wright(Teresa), his only grandson Joshua, younger brother David and nephews, Buddy, Tim, William and Jason.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 20^th at 11 am at New Mount Vernon United Methodist Church in Winston Salem, address is 6408 Friendship-Ledford Rd.  Winston-Salem NC, 27107

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations in his honor be made to Wake Forest School of Medicine, Center for Experiential and Applied Learning, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC  27157-1039
