Obituary of Floyd Franklin Myrick, Sr.
Floyd F. Myrick Sr. passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on April 7, 2019 at the age of 75. He was born in Greensboro on May 20, 1943 to Mildred Phillips and Benjamin Franklin Myrick. Mr. Myrick was a retired electrician by trade and loved fishing and horseback riding as hobbies. He is survived by his two sons; Floyd (Gail) Myrick Jr. of King, NC and Jeffrey (Joe) Myrick of Pinnacle, NC and two daughters Tammy (Wayne) Gordon of Gafney SC and Sahelinda Myrick of Mockville, NC. Four grandchildren; Chistopher Myrick, Erik (Alexis) Foster, Christopher(Christina) Meadows, and Jennifer Meadows and four great grandchildren. He leaves behind three brothers; Jerry Poteat, Gary Myrick and Ben Myrick and one sister; JoAnn Blackburn and nephews and nieces. The family would like to express a special thanks to Patricia Wright, neighbors and caregivers for their loving support. A private service will be held at a later date.
