Obituary of Bobby "Scott" Hendrix

Mr. Bobby "Scott" Hendrix Sr., 56, of Winston-Salem passed away in his home on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Scott was a loving father and avid fisherman. He was a master in the auto body repair industry for many years. He was born to Mary Hendrix Doby of Davie Co. He is preceded in death by his mother, and brother Archie Doby. He is survived by a son, Bobby S. Hendrix Jr., a daughter, Kristena Hendrix (Sam Stanick) of Winston-Salem. Mother of Kristena, stepmother to Bobby, Samantha Hendrix of Winston-Salem. Aunt Shirley Hendrix Brooks, of Winston-Salem, George Hendrix (Marie Hendrix) of Topsail Island, Louise Hendrix Spillman of Davie Co., Noah "Junior" Hendrix of Winston-Salem, Gene Hendrix of Virginia Beach, VA and Mike Cooley of Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held at Salem Funeral Services, 2951 Reynolda Road, Winston Salem, Saturday March 30 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to help cover the final expenses.
