Obituary of William Crawford Sherlock Nelson

William Crawford Sherlock Nelson, 62, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 11, 2019, after a period of declining health. He was born on June 20, 1956 in Denver, CO to David and Barbara Nelson. He was preceded in death by his father, David Nelson and his sister, Laura Nelson. He is survived by his children Crawford Nelson (Delphine), Tucker Nelson (Devon), David Nelson, and Ginny Nelson. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren Eloise Nelson and Boden Nelson. Additionally he is survived by his mother, Barbara Nelson and his sisters Jennifer Miner, Lisa Robertson, and Barbara Nelson. Sherlock graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and received a master's degree from Regent University. After a career in furniture sales he enjoyed his work as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors. Sherlock died on his sister, Laura's birthday. What a celebration it must have been, as he has been waiting for 56 years to celebrate with her. He had great sense of humor and a personality to match. He loved his Heavenly Father, his family, the Colorado mountains, and a good cigar. There will be a service to celebrate his life on Saturday, January 26th at 11:00am at Revo Church, located at 3830 Wayne Avenue. The family will receive friends after the service.
