Obituary of Michael Thomas Snider

Michael Thomas Snider, 51, died of Covid on Monday August 30, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Funeral services are scheduled from 2:00Pm to 4:00PM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Wayside Baptist Tabernacle Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael’s life. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Ann Smith and a niece, Rachel Wagnor. Survivors include his wife, Christy Snider of Lexington; son, Dylan Snider of Colorado; daughter, Haleigh Davis of Lexington; step-son, Michael Knight of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Zealand Snider and Ivy Snider of Colorado and Easton Davis of Lexington; father, Roger Snider and sisters, Merinda Wagnor and Susan Whitaker, all of Lexington; nephews, Jacob Blackburn of Wilmington, Nick Blackburn of Winston-Salem and Hunter Wagner of Winston-Salem; great-niece, Isabell Blackburn and uncle, Robert “Bobby” Snider of Georgia. Michael was born July 21, 1970 in Davidson County, NC to Roger and Delores Ann Snider. He married Christy Snider in May of 2014. He was a great family man and a loving father. He was a social, active man who was deeply involved for the majority of his life. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, walks on the beach and anything to do with the outdoors. His family and friends will always remember him as a beautiful soul who loved to make everyone laugh. He was one of the best persons you could ever meet, always kind, funny and loving.
