Prayers for Stacy's family and friends. Although we were actually 3rd cousins we never met. I did have him on my FB however and I enjoyed seeing his posts. He was very funny, and spoke the truth at all times. He seemed like a spirit larger than life itself. I can only imagine being around him would have been infectious, and I am certain I would have been laughing because he seemed like a person that would always make you laugh. He was always smiling.
Rest in peace now Stacy.
Love to Shirley, Bill, Isabelle, Cameron and his family and friends.

Even though we were brother and sister our relationship was unique just like everything else about Stacy. We were in and out of each other's lives but he was never out of my heart. I loved getting the surprise phone call and hearing on the other end "Hi Sis" he'll never know how much those 2 words lit up my heart or when out of nowhere he'd tracked me down and sneak up on me with a big hug. I loved seeing that face, those eyes, that smile and to hear his voice and it will forever be etched in my memory. I'm going to miss my surprise visits and phone calls more than he knows. I hope he knew how much I loved him..my baby brother that had the sweetest heart just like his mother. I will always love you..oh what I would give to hear you call me Sis one more time.

Stacy....Stax.... Hop....The Hopster Whichever name you choose to call him, he’ll be remembered by all as the same man. Stacy Blaine Hopkins......A man among men. For me, he was a life long friend. A history and bond that is unparalleled. Whether we were in daily contact or a 1000 miles away. Our connection went unfettered since the summer we met in 1985. Even with the trials and tribulations that come with a dynamic and sometimes flamboyant friendship like ours. He will always be my truest friend. You don’t know someone like Stacy. You don’t just meet a person like Stacy ....you experience him. Speaking for myself, as many would probably agree, the experience and time spent with him is priceless. A man of character and depth. Full of compassion with a contagious sense of wonder. Charismatic, spontaneous, artistic, philosophical and spiritual. A man that was kind hearted with a down to earth sensibility and a smile that was infectious. His presence was felt and his personality is one of a kind. Our history together is a detailed story with twists and turns, ups and downs. Riddled with moments of the unbelievable and unimaginable to the most basic and mundane.....it’s a story larger then any book could contain. He lived life to the fullest and I was lucky enough to tag along for the ride. Love ya brother. You’ll surely be missed. My condolences to Shirley, Bill, Cam and Isabella. He loved you all more then life itself. Mike P
