Obituary of Bobbie Jean Jones

Bobbie Jean Jones was welcomed into heaven on May 25, 2021. A Memorial Service will be 3:00PM Saturday May 29, 2021 at Freedom Baptist Church, 214 Hillcrest Court, Lexington, NC with Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00PM at the church. Bobbie was born February 22, 1942. She was a daughter that became a wife and mother and blessed with 6 children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In her life she worked at many things, a few she was certified in; electronics, sewing, and cosmetology. Most of all she loved dancing. She was a top-of-the-line waitress. She knew how to handle people/customers. She sure had a personality and many, many friends. She is now in heaven with a lot of family that has welcomed her home. Bobbie is predeceased by her parents, Clyde Nicholson West and Hazel Leota Bullabough; husband, Albert Jones; daughter, Cheryl Kay Grimmet; brothers, Samuel West and Kenneth Bullabough and a sister, Clydene West. Survivors include her children, Shelby Sterchi, Cynthia Doss, Keith Tilley, Anthony Jones, and Shannon Jones; brothers, Joe West, Ricky Bullabough, and Melvin Bullabough, and a sister, Linda King.
