Obituary of Chriss Toni Logan

Chriss Toni Gilley Logan was reunited with her heavenly family members on May 11, 2021. Chriss was born April 25, 1947 to the late Howard Samuel Gilley and Evelyn Dellinger Gilley. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her infant brother, Calvin Samuel Gilley and her son, Derek Gray Logan. Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Angela Gilley Lambert and Donna Gilley Brauner; daughter, Teresa Logan Shell; granddaughter, Britknee Jane Reavis; great-grandsons, Jayden Grady and Braxton Vaughn and many more family members. Chriss attended Hanes High School until it closed. She graduated from North Forsyth High School in 1966. Chriss retired from Hanes Brands Inc. after many years of service. She loved all the children that she cared for at the nurseries and the children she cared for at home for many years. Chriss was a very loving Christian lady. She was very active in her church, Faith of God Ministries. She could often be found working in her church or spending time with her beloved family. The family would like to offer their gratitude to the entire staff of Trellis Supportive Care, especially her nurse Amanda. They would also like to thank all the friends and family for their love and prayers throughout the journey. Chriss was well loved and will be dearly missed. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
