Obituary of Billy Ray Flynn

Billy Ray Flynn, 86, born April 1st 1934 passed away Friday December 18, 2020 at home with his friends by his side Billy spent 13yrs in the USAF as a communication specialist, and attained the rank of staff SSgt (E5) . He is a veteran of the Korean war, and received numerous metals, including but not limited to a Korean service metal, and a United Nations Service metal. He was preceded in death by his Father Thomas Flynn, Mother Ira Newsom, and Brother Thomas Flynn Jr. A memorial service will be held January 4, 2021 11:00am at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144 Billy's favorite place to be was with his Waffle House family in King NC.
