Obituary of Vaniel Lee Danzy, Sr.

Vaniel Lee Danzy Sr. transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord, Sunrise, November 24, 2020, peacefully at his home surrounded by his love ones. He was born in Georgetown, SC to Mrs. Eugenia Danzy Maybank on May 22, 1954. He was educated at Andrews High in Andrews, South Carolina. He retired from the City of Winston-Salem on December 15th, 2015. He was reared in the Baptist faith by his late Grandmother Grace Danzy Brunson, becoming a member at an early age at Brown Chapel Baptist Church, Andrews, SC. He was predeceased by his loving mother Eugenia D. Maybank and his loving son, Vaniel Lee Danzy Jr. and granddaughter Aubrey. He leaves to cherish his legacy and memory, his loving wife of the home, Mrs. Juanita Leecost Danzy; his father in law —John A. (Delores) Leecost; mother in law— Pasty J. (Rufus) Watkins children – Stephanie & Stephan Leecost; Granddaughters Rebekah & Jarnisha; along with Elijah Fulton; Grandsons – Desmond & Jarvis Danzy of Charleston, SC; Brandon Danzy of Myrtle Beach, SC; his daughter in law Ashley B. Danzy, grandchildren, Ethan Thomas, Layla Brown and Evan Danzy all of Fort Mill, GA; Siblings: A. Loretta Maybank of Wilmington, DE; Margie M. ( Sylvester) Evans of Atlanta, GA; Bettie Maybank of Wilmington, DE; Althia (Reginald) Pratt of New London, NC; Athaun Maybank of Wilmington, DE; Quajuana Johnson of Georgetown, SC; the family Matriarch, Mrs. Lila Moyd of Andrews, SC; G. Lee (Marie) Brunson of Osceda, SC; Daniel Brunson of Sampit, SC; Loretta Brunson of Atlanta, GA; specials nieces and nephew; Tonya Norton of Virginia Beach, VA; Morgan “Wayne” (Andrea) Brunson of Georgetown, SC; Crystal (Herb) McCray of Moncks Corner, SC and a host special children, Aunts, Uncles nieces, and nephews. His special devoted friends, Marion (Cynthia) Belton, Deb Ross, Donald “Butch” Grier and Michael Wesley; in addition, to his church family of Vessels of Mercy For Christ Full Deliverance Ministries of which he was one of the founding laborers, Restored Faith Ministries along with the Field of God.
