When Suzie came to /Richmond to stay with us, I don't know who enjoyed it more - my mother, Nita Phillips, Bruce, Will (Billy) or me. She was always a ray of sunshine (with the devil ears just poking over the top of her head!). She was 15 or 16 staying with us one summer. A repairman came to the house and was absolutely enamored by Suzie (who wouldn't be?). He asked her for a date that evening and my mother let her go! Years later, my mother looked back on this and was mortified. She said, "I thought she was 25 - she acted like it"..
I always called her Suzie. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I'll miss you, Cousin Suzie.
