Obituary of Eric Joseph Premo

Eric Joseph Premo 42, of Germanton NC passed away un-expectantly at work on Thursday, August 20 2020. Eric was a member of the Kernersville Seventh Day Adventist Church where services will be officiated by Pastor Israel Mora on September 5, 2020 at 3:00 pm and located at 896 Old Winston Road, Kernersville NC 27284. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kernersville Seventh Day Church for the Tri-City Adventist Academy Worthy Student Fund at the above address. Eric was born May 4, 1978 in Forsyth County, Winston-Salem, NC. Eric was an Electrician however; Eric was currently employed installing plumbing in a new housing development in Salisbury NC. Eric could have been a comedian, he always kept everyone laughing. Eric loved writing, music, art, movies, gaming, spending time with his family and playing with our beloved Yorkie Xena. Eric was awarded a first place ribbon and a certificate from The Young Authors Conference in 1990 for his short story he wrote “4 dudes in Space.” Eric attended North Forsyth High School where he enjoyed playing Varsity Football until the end of 10th grade. At this time Eric took his GED where he passed the GED test on his first try without any other classes. Eric then took his College placement test and was accepted to Forsyth Technical Community College where he studied Electrical Installation. Eric is predeceased by his Paternal Grandparents Frieda K. Vanderburg & Byron Vanderburg of Kernersville NC, Maternal Grandparents William C. Tyler & Marian M. Tyler originally of Vienna and Leesburg VA, Aunts Patricia Ann Ferguson of Alexandria VA , & Nancy Jean Rogers of Walkertown NC. Eric is currently survived by one daughter Jaden Elizabeth Premo, his parents Marian Elizabeth “Beth” Premo & Marvin Premo Jr., one brother Michael Cory Premo all of Germanton NC, Deanna Morgan a very special Step grandmother of VA, Aunts & Uncles Dilly & Larry Chandler of Kernersville NC, Margaret & Ronnie McKnight of Kernersville NC and Dan Rogers of Walkertown NC as well as numerous cousins and second cousins all residing in NC, VA and FL.
