Obituary of Zachary Ashton Foster

On the morning of August 6th, 2020, Zachary Ashton Foster of Winston-Salem passed away, at the age of 27. Zach has now joined his uncle, Chad Cooper, in his heavenly home. He was also preceded in death by a half-brother, Christian Howard. Zach was born on July 16, 1993, in High Point, NC. to Gregory Foster and Michelle Cooper. Zach loved skateboarding, playing music, and hanging out by the river. He loved art and received a scholarship to the Sawtooth Summer Art Program when he was in the 7th grade. Zach had the kindest heart and never seemed to meet a stranger. He tried to always make sure everyone around him was happy. He never put himself above anyone else and would talk to you as long as you would let him. He is survived by his father, Gregory Foster; mother, Michelle Cooper; adopted mother, Heather Sheets (Scott); beloved sister, Savanna Foster and half-brother, Floyd Foster; grandmother, Bonnie Binkley; grandfather, Steven Cooper; grandfather, Peyton Foster and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins. Zach also had a big blended family: Ralph Lestingi, Justin Lestingi, Chase Parsons, Olivia Sheets, Blake Sheets and Naomi Sheets. Because of COVID-19, a celebration of life will be held outside from 6 to 8 PM at Horizons Park Picnic Shelter on August 21. The Picnic Shelter is located at 2835 Memorial Industrial School Rd, Germanton, NC 27019. At a future date there will be a private graveside service held for immediate family members at Forsyth Memorial Gardens.
