Obituary of Carolyn Jane Parsons Mendoza

Carolyn Jane Mendoza (nee Parsons) passed away suddenly at her home on August 3, 2020 at the age of 78. Carolyn was born in Mount Pleasant, PA to Georgia Scott Parsons and John Regis Parsons on April 7, 1942. She served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1964. Carolyn is preceded in death by her sisters, Susan Stephens and Joyce Ligon, her grandson, Branden Little, her partner Jim Pachmayr, her lifelong friend, Aaron Mendoza, and her loving dogs, Sophie and Mailing. She is survived by her brother, Regis Parsons (Brenda); daughters, Kimberly Mendoza, of the home; Tami Clark (Neal), of Lexington; grandchildren Aly Clark (Catelyn Noah); Kaly Wall (Blane); Megan Clark (Ryan Edge); and Sarah Hill, all of Lexington; great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Jasper Little; and her many nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, August 8th from 3 to 6 PM at 320 Kimberly Lane, Lexington, NC 27292. Visitors are kindly asked to wear a face covering.
