Obituary of Veralue Blakley

Vera was born May 31, 1954 in Winston Salem to Paul & Jeanette Harris and departed this life to join them in Heaven on April 15, 2020. She was educated in the Forsyth County School system and worked for her brother at Dennis’ Automotive Care as Office Coordinator until illness left her unable to do so. Vera is survived by her husband of 47 years, Garret Blakley, daughters; Sonya Wyatt and Terrah Blakley, grandchildren; Ashley Edwards, Keely Dunlap, Kaleb Dunlap & Jared Manuel, great grandchild; Kaden McKinney, sisters; Paulette Holt, Sue Harris, Debbie Holder, brothers; Bruce Harris, Dennis Harris, Timmy Harris and multiple nieces and nephews. Vera was very courageous and strong during her fight with cancer. She instilled that fighting spirit into her children and grandchildren. She had a big heart and was loved by the customers and coworkers she encountered every day and deeply loved by her family. A celebration of life gathering will be planned at a future date.
