Obituary of Margaret Tohmfor

Margaret Tohmfor, born Ellwagen Germany in 1947, died March 31, 2020. Margaret began her life in the United Stated at the age of 7 with her mother, Matilde Balk and stepfather, Werner Balk. She has left us to join her husband, John and their son, Jason who passed before her. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Sherrill; brother George; grandchildren, Laura, Patrick, Emily and Colt; great-grandchildren, Emily and Kaylee. Margaret was an avid outdoors person who loved cottage-style gardening, dogs and horses. In lieu of flowers, (which are more for the survivors), we ask that you donate to a child in need during this crucial time, or your local animal shelter as both were considered very important to her. Spring Garden So when I looked at those flowers, I was looking at God For they bloomed in His sun And grew in His sod And each lovely flower Was a “voice from above” That whispered a message Of kindness and Love For I feel in my heart, And I know you do, too, That God speaks to us all Through the kind things we do And when I looked at those flowers I couldn’t help but feel That they brought heaven nearer And made God so real.
