Obituary of Frank Frelund Tullos

July 8, 1946 - March 8, 2020 Frank Frelund Tullos, 73, of Clemmons, NC. Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Sunday. A tribute to Frank's life will be celebrated from 2pm to 4pm Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2020, at Break Time Billiards, Winston-Salem. Born in Seattle, WA to Frank and Ruby Tullos. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Glen and Richard. He is survived by Karen Tullos, his devoted wife and lifelong companion of 48 years and three children, Matt and his wife Katya of Winston-Salem, Traci Gardner and husband McLane of Panama City, FL, and Scott of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren Kristina, Nathan, Nicholas and Greta; his sister-in-law Peggy Campbell and late brother Glen's children Heather, Michael, Lindsey, Stephanie and Spencer in the Charlotte area. Frank graduated from Belleville High School, IL in 1964, earned a BSBA from Southern Illinois University in 1968 and served in the US Army 1968-1974. He was very successful in sales and executive management roles in the automotive, sports equipment, housewares and giftware fields. Following corporate life, he established the Break Time chain of billiard sport bars in NC. Frank was a nationally ranked billiard champion throughout his lifetime, still placing in his 70s and passionate about the game. Beyond Frank's prowess on the table, was his ability to teach every aspect of the game. He was an avid reader, car enthusiast and American patriot. He will always be missed.
