Obituary of Theresa Ann Keiffer
Thesesa Ann Keiffer, "Mumzy Tig" nee Wenzel died unexpectedly in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on January 10th 2020 at the age of 74.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; children, Angelle (Sheridan), J Steven, and Pamela Sue; grandchildren Dakota Longberry Griffin, Angelina Theresa Kathleen Ross, and Brandon Joseph Keiffer; and her half-sister, Noreen (Wenzel) Laubler Canton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Russel Wenzel and Frances (Pomeroy) Wenzel. Theresa was born on February 6th 1945 in Ohio to Edward and Frances Wenzel.
She graduated from Eastlake North High School in 1963. She married Jeffrey Steven Keiffer Sr, her high school sweetheart, in 1966. Theresa was a hands-on, stay-at-home mother for a number of years, participating actively in PTA, scouting and many other student activities. As the children got older,Theresa returned to working outside the home in a variety of positions through the years. She retired from London Corporation of Phoenix Arizona in 2016. Theresa was an accomplished singer, and often performed with the church choir as a youth, and parishoner. She was a generous and dedicated individual who loved her family and who was passionate about spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active member of Beck's Lutheran Church of Lexington, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life reception is scheduled for Friday February 28th at Stadium Grill 8330 Tyler Blvd Mentor Ohio 44060. Theresa's daughter, Reverend Angelle Keiffer, will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Theresa's life.
