Obituary of Janet Lee Hogan

Janet Lee Hogan died peacefully at Forsyth Medical Center on November 3, 2019, in Winston-Salem, NC at the age of 75.

Janet was born on March 21, 1944, in Winston-Salem, NC to Floyd and Grace Blakeley.  She attended Mars Hill College and received an associate’s degree from FTCC. She worked as a bank teller at First Union and as a unit secretary at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Janet is survived by son Brian Hogan of Winston-Salem and daughter, Rebecca Miller and her husband Todd of Mocksville; 4 grandsons, Michael, Chaydyn, and Trycyn of California. Jacob Miller and granddaughter Julie Miller of Mocksville. She is also survived by her sister Patsy Knapp and husband Jerry of Rural Hall, NC.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Burnette Blakeley.
